Kill the Dargon

Isaac Arboless had to kill the evil dargon. The dargon was a creature with the power to destroy unknowingly. It was stealthy and quick and sneaky and intriguing and always successful. So Isaac had to kill it. This is what he did: the dargon had been sneaking into the outskirts of Ostro City for a long time. This is where Isaac lived. He had a job writing things down and selling books. Well, every time that Isaac was about to accomplish something really grand, the dargon would come and attack. So he could not go on with his life while the dargon was there, even when it wasn’t there at all. Because it was always there. That’s the trick with a dargon. It is always there, even when it’s not, and even when it is dead, actually. Well, anyhow, the dargon had just struck Isaac when he was about to accomplish something. And he had the last straw. He took a box of book paste and some fine sand, the kind that you get at Seafield, and he mixed the two, then added just the slightest bit of crackle powder, the kind that you can buy at the market on Spry Day. This concoction will blow the dargon to bits. But he could not go alone, so he enlisted the help of his friend the thinker. Æsop Tchai, the unknown great thinker of Abbleseft. Æsop was a faithful friend and he was willing to help kill the dargon. Well, after careful planning, the concoction was ready and it was time to go find the dargon. They are easy to find, because they are bright colored and have a bad odor, but still there is something about them that allows them to sneak up on people all the time. It was a short process to find the dargon, and they discovered it at the base of the mountains to the west of the Ostro City. Isaac went towards the dargon, who began to approach, for if a dargon is approached, it will also approach and there will be a battle. Æsop stood on a rock above the dargon, out of sight, with the concoction. When the dargon was close to Isaac, but not too close, Æsop threw the concoction down upon the head of the approaching dargon, which resulted in a great explosion and a shriek of defeat. The dargon had its brain hemorrhaged. And Isaac just received minor wounds and Æsop got some concoction on his hands, causing a burn and discomfort. But killing thd dargon was a great success and a good idea.
